The Manager of Fleet Walk Shopping Centre has reduced his car parking charges to just ONE POUND on a SATURDAY for ALL DAY parking durring March to help support traders and shoppers in the town centre.

Early reports are that the Grand Hotel has had a chimney fire 4 fire crews attended and it is now under control.
This comes at a time when the Fire service are warning people of the dangers of chimney fires.

From 4th February you will be able to park in any town centre car park from Noon untill Midnight on a Saturday for just one pound.
This will run every Saturday and if we can fill the car parks the council will let it run until the end of March
So lets all show them that cheaper car parking works.
