The Spring and Autumn Food and Arts Festivals are now established firm favourite events with locals and visitors alike. Enjoy delicious, tempting dishes prepared by top local restaurant chefs throughout the two days. Delight in the pleasure of Al Fresco dining. There are also other major events staged in Torquay town including 'Pride Torbay' in July. Centred on the harbour, this four day celebration is complemented perfectly by the English Riviera's grand natural splendour and diverse topography along with the numerous parties and special events held at this time.

Another major two-day event being the Torquay Town Centre Festival held in September, celebrating great music, dance and street acts with entertainers coming from all around the world.

These events brighten up the dull days of Autumn in the lead up to Christmas, when the scintillating Christmas lights sparkle throughout Torquay and around the harbour, adding a touch of magic to the town. The pace is then truly set for the festive celebrations with the spectacular Christmas Carnival and parade.
